A full description of this trip can be found on our Beautiful Brooklyn page.
A few Subway stops into Brooklyn, you'll find some of the city's most fascinating neighborhoods. From Prospect Heights, Lefferts Gardens, and Crown Heights to the south, to Bed-Stuy, south Williamsburg, Clinton Hill & Ft. Greene further north, the streetscapes seem to change from one world to the next in a matter of minutes! There's history & culture in these streets and we'll explore it all on this day-long trip.
For most Brooklyn residents, Prospect Park is unquestionably the true people's park of the city. The rolling hills and paths, secluded streams and ponds, tucked-away bridges and tunnels, are ideal for bike exploration. The Victorian homes and well manicured lawns on the souther side of Prospect Park will be a pleasant surprise for even the most well-travelled Brooklynite. We'll have the opportunity to visit the Hasidic Jewish communities in both Williamsburg and Crown Heights, which, despite appearances, will provide you with a better understanding of what makes the two populations so different from one another.
Along the way, we'll stop for food, drinks, and snacks as needed; there are a myriad of possibilities, from Kosher to Caribbean. If you're interested in a specific type of food (or any other highlights to check out in Brooklyn), we can encourage you to mention when signing up. On the day of the ride, we’ll do our best to accommodate and advise.
