Free BYOBike Trips
Get to know the nooks and crannies of your 'hood with Latitude! Whether you want to better familiarize yourself with your surroundings, or just want to explore a new part of the city, these trips are guaranteed to expand your New York horizons. Each ride will last about 2-3 hours and end at a local cafe or bar where the group will be treated to a special promotion provided by our generous neighborhood watering holes. (You are welcome to come and go as you please but we do ask that you make a reservation by email so that we can prepare for the appropriate number of participants; when receive your email, we will provide meeting details.)
Get to know The Harlems: (June 25, 6pm-8ish) From Central Harlem to Spanish Harlem, and up to Hamilton Heights & Morningside Heights (formally Harlem Heights) there is so much of the past and present to experience.
The Backbone of Brownstone Brooklyn: (July 7, 6pm-8ish)This ride will weave the stories and the history Brooklyn's most idyllic streets and enterprising people, as we wind our way through Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy, Ft. Greene, and Clinton Hill.
Coastal Queens: (Aug 5, 6pm-8ish) With underrated waterfront parks (accompanied by spectacular views), and fascinating & diverse neighborhoods to match, LIC, Ravenswood, and Astoria give us so much to explore.
Garrulous Gowanus to Salty Red Hook: (Aug 18, 6pm-8ish) Get to know the stories of Gowanus' surrounding neighborhoods, like Carrol Gardens & Boerum Hill, and then make your way down to Red Hook to experience seldom discussed tales of the sea.
Up-and-Coming Uptown: (September 21, 6pm-8ish)From the edges of Harlem to the heights of WaHei (Washington Heights) and below the underpasses of SoBro (South Bronx), this slightly longer & hillier BYOB Trip travels to the so-called next neighborhoods of Uptown.
